Graphic Xiangqi Junior Competition18 June 2022
Since 2021, Rotary Club of Mount Sophia (RCMS) has become a partner of the Singapore Xiangqi General Association (SXGA) in promoting graphic xiangqi. The club includes graphic xiangqi as one of their community service projects, seeing its potential in enhancing racial harmony between different ethnic groups in Singapore. It kicked off with an online seminar introducing graphic xiangqi on 9 Jan 2021. However, further programmes were interrupted by the fluctuating condition of COVID-19.
The Graphic Xiangqi Junior Competition was postponed for a year till 18 June 2022, held at the clubhouse of SXGA The competition is open to primary school students, conducted in two divisions running on a 5-round Swiss. A total of 21 students from 5 primary schools contested in this inaugural competition. The winners from the two divisions are as follows:

National Graphic Xiangqi Competition

The Singapore Xiangqi General Association will be holding the 2nd “Chan Soo Sen Cup” National Graphic Xiangqi Competition 2022 in conjunction with the Racial Harmony Day on 31 July at the multi-purpose hall of Bishan Community Club.
